I'm a recent convert fron Solid Edge and I've been pulling my hair out over this.
In SE making an external thread is very simple. You extrude a boss and then use a thread comand. I have seen some people explaining how to do the revolved cut to make threads but that doesn't seem to do what I need.
I like how the fancy threads look but they are very much overkill for me. All I want is an external thread so when the part goes to drafting they give it a dimension, just like the internal ones, and all the info is there.
