I'm on Catia V5R19 and can't find the extremum point command. Was it moved to a different toolbar (used to be on point type flyout toolbar)or eliminated?

DBezaire,

I thought so too, and looked there too. Please see attached screenshot!

Is it only included on a different license? I didn't think so because before we upgraded to R19 I know I had it.

If this is the case and it isn't in R19 what is a good way to accomplish the same end result?

Thoughts? Thanks for your help btw!

Your license would be the same from previous versions to R19. Did you load the GSD module. I think it would be called GSD -- Generative Shape Design 2 for the individual module or you could load the package HD2 which would have it there too.

Is it in tools options general license list?

I am not sure how you would get a consistent accurate result without the option. Perhaps you could create an extruded surface then use a reflect line to get the extreme curve. Intersect the curve with a plane through the original curve to get a point.

Regards,
Derek
