I am currently drawing an angle iron piece of furniture. In essence, there are 8 pieces of angle iron that are standing vertical on their end. Another frame slips inside, going across them all, causing me to have to make cuts in the angle iron. How can I do this in the weldment. I have picked my surfaces and done an extruded cut to another surface and it doesn't seem to work correctly. I have attached an image to make it clearer. I have many more pieces to add, so I need to figure this out. I am sure its simple, but I am having issues with it. Any help is appreciated.

Go to help and learn about the Trim/Extend tool for weldments. It does exactly what you want.

I would look into what is going to be involved in trimming and welding a bunch of angle iron together.
You do not want your production guys having to notch a bunch of chunks out of the angle iron in order to weld them together.
Is this for work, or a class assignment?
