Hello,

I am having issues using face blend command. Whenever NX creates the blend, the radius is different from what I have entered. I entered 8mm and I get almost 6mm. The work around I am currently doing is enlarging the surfaces so it would meet and create intersection and I retrim and sew, then use the "Blend" command.

Setting for face blend is two face and constant and circular, nothing fancy.
Please help, thanks!

I untrimmed and re trimmed and sew the surface.
Tried face blend (faceblend37) again and it created the same size as previous (faceblend 30).
Used blend and the size is correct.

In the first post, you have chosen the "constant width" type of face blend; this will vary the radius to maintain a constant chord length across the blend. If you want a constant radius, try width method: automatic, shape: circular, radius method: constant.

Thanks very much Cowski.

I have been staring at the dialogue box looking at options and I did not notice that.
