Face seal - helium leak testing

I am working with an industrial partner for my senior design class, we must isolate 4 regions on a aluminum cylinder and record helium leak rates at each location. My group is planning on using face seals. We are in the process of designing a test method for our proof of concept. Any tips, links, resources, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not really enough information. What temperature and pressure is the helium? When you say face seals are you o-rings? If so what material?

I am surprised you have not been red flagged for student posting.
But, if I were you I would research seal manufacturer's catalogs/websites for what you are trying to do.
Your industrial partner has either has a unique configuration to seal, thereby looking to your team for a new/fresh approach to sealing or they are giving you a bone. In either case as Chpal1984 as stated, you have not provided anything to help you with.
