Dear all
I faced 15hp two piston refrigeration compressor with failed unloader solenoid. It seams clear that when the unloader valve remain closed before motor startup, the starting current and torque remain high. And failed open before start up, perhaps no cooling. But I want know what will happen to the compressor if the unloader open in the middle of working? Will the compressor suction face more pressure than its rating? If so what can a high pressure do bad to suction valve or any component?
