Hello All,
I am working on a project that will need to go overseas and need to convert the units of the entire part to mm. I have used the ug_convert_part.exe prompt before with mixed results. Today it is not cooperating. (NOTE: It has not been used on this part). At first I got a 'conversion failure' due to a list of expressions, all of which were not constant variables but quotients.
(IE "P42=25.75/2-.110"
"p42 references a number with unknow dimensionality.")
I went in and substituted the quotients with actual values and tried the conversion again. The previously listed errors are no more but the conversion still fails and it doesn't offer me an explination as to why. I have not yet been able to figure out why the conversion process is hit/miss. Does anyone have any suggestions as to red flags or prerequisets to look out for when trying to convert the units?
