Hmm...
this is a tricky one for me...
I'm making a rotary tailstock with different length shafts for different applications. I need to make a tailstock assembly to insert into the main assembly. I've got the shaft all family tabled up and it works fine in the tailstock assembly.
But when i put it into the main assembly, proe doesn't save the isntance that it is ment for the main assembly. So if you open up anouther main assembly that uses the tailstock shaft but with a different length shaft, the tailstock assembly reverts to the last used shaft length.
I don't want to have to make 7 different tailstock assemblies. Is there a way for you to have a family table for a feature that is in a part in an assembly that is in a assembly.
