Feature Tree Expanding out into graphics area

Is the some preference to keep the feature tree from migrating (spreading out) into the graphics area when creating a feature?

I know you can click on the top of the active window of the feature that is being worked on at the time to get that "migrating"
to disappear.... but is there a preference that can turn it off? Thanks

Check your Help files for the term "Flyout FeatureManager Design Tree". I'm sure some setting will resolve your issue.

Switch to Inventor, which has the feature tree in a separate window...

That's and expensive switch for a single feature... Besides I wouldn't invest in anything from Autodesk anyway.
