I have a part that I've been working on and I keep running into a problem that I have to work around. I'll have the part rolled back to make some edits on earlier features and when I roll forward again, certain features (usually drafts or edge blends) seem to disappear within the part. The feature is still listed in the part navigator and shows that it's active (i.e. green check mark) but the feature name is grayed out and does not show on the displayed part. It also affects all of the children features.

My usual work around was to simply redo the entire operation and then delete the affected feature. However, after messing around with the part today, I've found that all I have to do to "reactivate" the feature is to open up the feature's dialog box, click "Show Result" and then click "OK". Has anyone else run into this problem or know how to correct it?

Without seeing an actual part file which exhibits this behavior it would difficult to speculate on what might be causing this.

Sounds similar to an ongoing issue I've been having since NX6 (less so now in 7.5), see thread561-248819 for a description. Unfortunately, I can't offer a solution; but I would suggest looking in the customer defaults under Modeling -> General -> Update (tab) and under the Edit during update dialog appears on... section, turn on the Errors and Missing References options if they are not already on. I don't think this will make the problem go away, but may give you more warnings/information as to what is happening.

I'm running NX 7.5. There are no warning, errors, or missing references on the "suppressed" feature but there are on the children features. It simply won't display until I go in and update it by clicking on "Show Result". I also found that I can "fix" it by deselecting all the input curves and reselecting them. It's almost like the feature thinks it's on a hidden body but it's not.

I don't know if the problem is part specific because I seem to recall this occuring on a couple different parts. From what I've seen, I can roll the part back and forward all day long with no problems as long as I don't make changes. At the same time though, most changes I make when I'm rolled back don't cause any problem either. Thus far I haven't been able to identify what rollback changes I make might be triggering this problem.

Go into "view style" for that particular view, and untoggle "hidden lines" (in the hidden line tab) - does the part show ?
