FEM using abaqus for reeeling and unreeling process for pipes

I am a novice in abaqus and I am suppose to carry out an FEA on reeling and unreeling process of a pipe. i need guidance on how to set up the reel and the pipe and assemble them

i went to part and i did my reel and made it rigid and for the pipe i made it deformable because i am analysing mainly the pipe nt the reel but i dont kw how to assemble a rigid and deformable.

when i go to instance in assembly for the reel and it tells me a solid rigid cant be instanced in assembly, i should convert to shell.

i dont know what to do next, please someone give me insight, its my project and its due very soon. thanks
