Ferric Chloride storage - corrosion of metals in room

Situation: 2 10' diameter plastic tanks for ferric chloride storage in a concrete/masonry room .
Question: if there are aluminum doors, louvers, ductwork, stairs, etc. in the same room (not in the containment area) will they be attacked in some way? There are metering pumps to pump the solution out to the wastewater treatment tanks, but everything is piped. The vents for the tanks are piped to the outside. It would seem that the only way for fumes to be generated would be for a spill to occur (which would hopefully be cleaned up fairly quickly).
Any thoughts?
Thank you.

It seems that you have taken all of the reasonable steps to construct a water treatment building. I assume that you have a building HVAC, floor drain, and a washdown hose bib too.

The operation and maintenance of the system is outside of the scope of your control. You just have to hope that good management is hired to run the system.

Suggest you go and inspect existing facilities. I havent seen one where there is not corrosion in this environment. Use non metals wherever possible. Timber is good as this will survive.
