Hi All,

This is for Creo 4.0.

I feel like this should be a simple task, but I am stuck. I've made a sketch (Model>Datum>Sketch) of a grid of circles on a flat plane. I want to now fill these circles black. Right now they are just empty circles that I have changed the line color to black. However I cannot find a way to fill these solid black.

I would like to open this part with the dot grid as a Drawing and then save that drawing as a to-scale PDF which I will then print. In the Drawing window, I found a Hatch/Fill option (Sketch>Edit>Hatch/Fill). I have been able to successfully fill circles here I have drawn here (Sketch>Sketching>Circle), but these sketched circles are just floating and not able to snap or reference to anything. I can't find a way to use this Fill/Hatch option on a sketch that already exists from the part.

The attached JPG is the view of the plane with the dot grid on it in the Drawing program of Creo. The black dots are what I want to fill solid (ignore the larger blue dots and rectangles).

Thank you for your help!

If you make a cosmetic feature referencing your sketch you can hatch or fill the cosmetic.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.
