When I use fillet expert to put fillets on a rectangular block (on the 4 corners) I only need select one and I have the option of either adding the other 3 corners or filleting the whole part automatically. Why is this not the case with the chamfer command?

I found that I was asking myself a similar question yesterday. However, this question would probably be better posed to a representative of Solidworks or by putting in an enhancement request.

I think it is because you have the option to change the angle of the chamfer based on your pick. If you selected a face, and wanted a 30 deg by .01 chamfer, how would it know what angle to base it on?
A radius is a radius, no issues there.

There is not chamfer expert, but if you select one face of the block you can chamfer all four edges of that face.

I'm using SW 2009. So maybe its a new feature.
