I am a graduate intern at a well known brewing company. I have been given a project directive to determine whether there is a correlation between quality control parameters [such as Carbonation, Total in packaging oxygen (TIPO)and fill volume] and the failure of a filling machine's filling tubes and valves.
I have some reservations about this approach because the objective is to use these quality control parameters to predict failure of filler tubes/valves.
I strongly believe that this is a maintenance problem or the method used to obtain TIPO readings is flawed.
I would like some suggestions as to how i would approach this project and also where i could find some information on alternate methods to determine TIPO.
