A friend has a friend with a spring fed pond lined, probably lined with local clay. It houses several nice trout.

A leak has developed. It has caused the pond normal level to drop some.

He wants to fix the leak without draining and removing fish.

Pond is roughly 20 x 20 ft. a few feet deep.

Ideas?

Oldestguy,

I apologize for posting my question in this thread. I joined this forum to ask you where I might get directions on sealing a ditch with bentonine.

While looking for a method to seal a seeping ditch (O, yes it has other problems that must be corrected first!) I found some of your replies in a Google search. Other that the 2 quotes in the online Google search detailed instructions about sealing a ditch using bentonite has eluded me.
Thanks in advance
