Hi
Hope you are fine and safe.
Please, I am dealing with following problem, and I’d kindly need some pieces of advice.
I have a finned tube that is inserted in a tank full of water.
The purpose of this finned tube is to cool the water of the tank
Into this finned tube passes refrigerant at a lower temperature than water.
My problem is that I can’t find the right correlation in order to set the governing equation, with the aim to know how much the water is cooled.
My second doubt is also if considering this heat transfer natural or forced, since water is standing still in the tank – the same tank is emptied only when temperature is obtained -
I would be extremely grateful if you could recommend me some reference literature, or, in the best case, an example of calculation
Thanks in advance
