Fire detector sensor in sewage pump room

Dear All,
anyone have standard or reference said the pump room shall include fire detection sensor.
and what type of sensor requirement in cable trench or gallery

Fire detection is typically placed per the locally adopted building code.

If the adopted Building Code is based on the International Building Code, you will find the requirements in Section 907
 
Ron is correct. Your insurance underwriters requirements should be considered as well.
You might want to consider methane gas detection as well.

Not sure of your location or specifics of this design, but since you are working in a wastewater facility, also see NFPA 820.
