Dear all,

Thanks for your always support,
could you please introduce a standard for testing the performance of the fire fighting pump?i could not find performance test tolerance values in NFPA 20.

Perhaps Hydraulic Institute testing standards would be applicable. Not sure of the size of your pump, but this is the place I would start.

 
That's part of the problem about the NFPA that it doesn't really address pump issues. I'd go for duty points and no more than 10% away from values.

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
 

Check out UL and FM requirement for the fire pump listing. Most likely follow HI standard.
