Hi, fellas
one of our client's inspectors engineer insists that the screw(shown with a yellow circle in the attached picture) is missing and don't accept use in the project.
so is there any technical explanation for why this screw is not exist there?
also that the other side of the motor has this hole without a screw in it!
almost all of our purchases from this brand have this feature but this is the first time we faced this question!

What did the motor/pump mfg say? It is the only explanation I would accept if I questioned it as the AHJ.

 
Is it threaded ???

Maybe a mount for an accessory,,, you do not need?

there is no accessory with the electro-motor or standard requirements to mount an accessory!
