Jul 1, 2008 #4 jike Structural Oct 9, 2000 2,160 Bare metal deck without concrete fill has no fire rating. There is no tested UL assembly for bare metal floor deck with spray-on fireproofing. The closest thing might be metal roof deck w/ spray-on plus roofing but you cannot use this assembly if you have no roofing. I see no way that you can achieve the 2 hour rating as you are asking. I think that you might be stuck adding concrete plus spray-on. Upvote 0 Downvote
