Hi,

I am new to this systems and would like to know the key area to look for during the testing and commissioning of this system?

Also, for maintenance point of view, can someone give me a guidance what documents are required are the pointers to look out for.

Everything you need is clearly and explicitly presented in NFPA 2001, Chapter 7. The fire alarm and detection system will require an acceptance test in accordance with NFPA 72, Chapter 14. ITM (Inspection, Testing, Maintenance) requirements are set forth in these same chapters.
