No John, I meant the Democrats. They've been moving Left since McGovern and now they've gone off the deep end.
Unfortunately, a lot of Democrats and Republicans don't have eyes to see or ears to hear, which is why they don't understand the rise Trump. Had these useless politicians been doing what they were elected to do, there wouldn't be a need for a President Trump.
Perhaps the Republicans will simply come to their senses ;-)
BTW, the latest poll shows that six of every ten Americans disapprove of Trump's performance as President. Of course this poll WAS taken AFTER he decided to forego visiting the WWI American Cemetery in France or Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day, and after his embarrassingly politicized Thanksgiving Day 'message' to the troops which was shortly after he attacked the Admiral who commanded the Seal Team raid that took out Bin Laden. You have to admit, it was probably not the best time to take that sort of poll, EH?
That's certainly your privilege. Let's hope the markets don't fall if he does. Me, I love what he's doing; he's being Trump. I'm a native NYer, -not quite his age- he's been part of the landscape for the past 40 years. If O Henry were alive, The 4 Million would probably have 3 million stories about Trump. I truly find it amazing how so many people are not only hate-filled but obsessed with him. Meanwhile, Barack Obama was even more corrupt than Nixon and he did a lot of harm to the nation but I didn't lose sleep over it.
Speaking of California, we may still flip one more House seat from Red to Blue.
In the 21st district, with about 1,000 votes still to be counted, the Democrat TJ Cox as taken a nearly 500 vote lead over incumbent Republican David Valadao. As late as last week, the Republican was ahead and in fact the race had been called, but there had been no concession as Cox knew that there were still thousands of votes yet to be counted and that historically these late votes tended to favor the Democrat, which is what had happened in several other House races in California, where the apparent Republican winner was eventually overtaken by the Democrat. However, this it the LAST district where the late votes could still make a difference.
If this holds-up, it will mean that the Democrats in California flipped seven House seats, which is HALF of the Republican delegation, and will leave the California Democrats with a 46 to 7 seat advantage in Washington.
The REAL voter fraud in this country is systematic voter suppression efforts.
As for California seceding, how would the rest of you make-up for all of the taxes that Californians currently overpay each year? For every dollar paid by California in federal taxes, 22 cents is distributed to other states.
And then there would be that lose of nearly 15% of the nation's GDP...
Be careful what you wish for, it just might come true.
