PIe Size, type of connector (flange, screw or welded), gas composition, pressure at that point and flow rate or velocity wouldn't go amiss

Design Pressure
Design Temperature
Material
Fluid description, viscosity, density etc.
Flow rate
Max allowed back pressure
Flange or otherwise end connection details
Any support arrangements required.

That should get you going.

Only if the device will be installed in an EU country. As of July 2003, organizations in EU must follow the directives to protect employees from explosion risk in areas with an explosive atmosphere. The ATEX directive consists of two EU directives describing what equipment and work environment is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere. ATEX derives its name from the French title of the 94/9/EC directive: Appareils destinés à être utilisés en ATmosphères EXplosibles.

Flame arrestors can get you into a lot of trouble if you dont know much about them - always get a technical safety engineer to help you out with this.
