My copy of ISA-20-1981 does not include flame safeguard component spec sheets either.

API RP 556 (mine is dated 1997) has performance recommendations, but no specification form.

NFPA 85/86 cover US codes for boilers, furnaces, etc.

I'm wondering how useful a spec form would be. Most vendors' sensor components do not interchange with each others', like a solenoid valve will interchange with an equivalent. For instance, a mechanical shutter driven UV scanner for 24-7 operation from Honeywell can not be wired to a Fireye or Kromschroeder controller, all are incompatible with one another's brands.

Commercial, UL/FM listed flame safety controllers, flame switches, primary and perform equivalent functions; I suppose a form could list the needed requirements, type of sensor, interlocks, post purge timer, etc.

The closest I've come is this RFQ form from a house that upgrades boilers (attached).
