I am trying to calculate the limiting oxygen concentrations (LOC) for 2 vapour mixtures consist of propylene oxide, propylene, methanol, ethanol, propanol, ethylamine, trimethylamine, oxygen and etc based on flammability diagram.
However, I also understand that the value is able to be computed through calculation in excel spreadsheet.
If I need to calculate the LOC based on the flammability diagram, I will need UFL and LFL values of the combustible components for both limits in air and pure oxygen. So far I able to get the limits value (LFL and UFL) in air (and in fact is readily available everywhere from the internet) but for the limits in pure oxygen are relatively difficult to have them.
Basically, I need the limits in pure O2 for the following components:
- methanol
- propylene oxide
- ethanol
- propanol
- ethylamine
- trimethylamine
- propane
Appreciate you guys feedback on the values. Worse comes to worst, I will only able to calculate the LOC thru excel spreadsheet. Thanks.
