Hi all,

I was wondering if you could clear up a point with all the various flange classes i.e. class 150, class 300 etc.

Would you be able to explain the difference between the classes and when to use which?? I assume it's to do with pressures and temperatures....

Many thanks

For starters, please read ASME B16.5.

After you've done that, come back if you have any more questions.

Hi Desertfox,

Many thanks for the info. Not having ASME B16.5 to hand the webpage you directed me to clears up my initial assumption.

Thanks again.
