Hello everyone.
In my company we are working in a handling system for hot plates (about 20kg). The plates come out of an oven with a tempreature of about 160°C (320 F) and should cool while being transported. The outer border of the plates rest on the 2 flat belts so that air can circulate on over and under the plate. That means the belts should be between 10mm and 50mm wide (Belts for the mining industry are way too big and wide). The 160°c are not permanent, since the plate keeps moving from one handling to the next one.

Our problem is to find flat belts that withstand this high temperatures.
Do you have any sugestions?
Maybe someone who sells them in Europe?

Cheers!!!

Consider woven wire belts (these will assist cooling due to the open weave).
There are various belt types available that are attached to chains on either side which do not require head/tail pulleys, but just sprockets to apply the driving force.
The belts can be supported on longitudional raceways (brass)
across the width of the belt.
Or even consider just multiple runs of transmission chain supported on longitudional raceways
