Hi guys,
I have a small problem and iam trying to find a solution to, the solution would be the right equation that i should be using and hoping that some of you could lead me inito the right direction into finding it:
I am trying to create some water waves ontop of a water surface by using compressed air, through nozzles that are placed directly above the water surface. those waves that I am trying to create are extremely small, less 1mm in amplitude possibly, and I was wondering if there is an equation that could help me determine the Amplitude.
My givens, are the pressure at which the gases are supplied and will be applied at, the densities of the fluids, and the angle of the nozzles.
I really appreciate all of your help and hope to hear from you guys soon..
Thanks,
D
