Hello

First of all I would like to say hallo to all.
I'm new on this forum and I'm new to Ansys. I already done some simulation with pure mechanics stuff (examples), but her I really do not know how to start solving this problem.

For beginning I would like to solve very simplified case of my problem – 2D for beginning will do. Inside of steel housing is fluid (100% full – with no air bubble). The housing consists of 3 thick walls and one thin plate (membrane). On thin plate I will put some force (load). I would like to observe the deformation of the membrane and the pressure of the fluid which will be increases with load on thin plate.

If this possible to solve with Ansys or I need CFD.
I plan to use solid42 for housing and fluid79 for fluid - is this OK?
Can some one give me some hint how to start or solved example of similar problem?

Here is showed simple geometry:

F LEGEND
==------------------== - thin plate
==+++++++++++== = thick wall
==+++++++++++== + fluid
============== F force on thin plate
