Anyone have any experience with these?
I'm looking for a portable scope to use on CNC equipment. I have a Tek TDS3012 already but would like something a little more portable. This would probably knock around in my truck until I had a need for it. I leave my Tek at home currently and only take it when I need it, but usually I don't realize I need it until after I'm at the customer's shop. Any suggestions of other brands would be welcome.

Thanks
Dan

Have a look at the Tek portables THSxxx. Some of them come at a very (comparably) low price. And you will learn a lot faster. I use both Fluke 199 and the Tek THS. I must say that I prefer Tek.

I have an older Scopemeter 105. Still works for the most part. One of the membrane switch connections is bad. Also it won't charge up the batteries.

I used to have access to one of the early portable Tek 'scopementers', and now have to suffer a Philips (Fluke) 123 Scopemeter from the same vintage. The Tek scope is by far the nicer instrument to use. I am told that the Fluke scopes have improved a lot, and even if that is true they would still not have caught up! The Philips / Fluke product is an absolute dog.

Why not rent one of each for a week? They are normally about £40/week to hire in the UK. Or ask - demand! - for a demonstration instrument. The manufacturers and the bigger dealers should be able to arrange that on a fairly high value product.
