When stainless steel and carbon steel has been installed how is it then flushed? Do you have to use chemicals? If so what? The pipework will be for cooling water.
Also when will passivation or pickling be required please?

Look at the cleaning and flushing specs within the design documentation - it will specify the cleaning after testing.

Thanks but there is only a preliminary design at the moment and this has not been out lined yet

So would I be in correct in saying that after pipe work installation 304l stainless then the standard practice is just to flush it with water? There is no need for chemicals at all?
