For a student mini project to build a design model of engine or it's parts how can i get blue print or dimensions?

you need to build an engine ?
or just design one ??

what sort of engine ? piston, in-line or radial, turbo-jet ?
Does it Have to be an aircraft engine ? or any IC engine ?

I suspect you'll only get drawings from an OEM.

I suspect they will only get detailed installation [in a product] drawings... and the maintenance manual and IPB with exploded assemblies.

If they follow the links from the search I provided they will get actual design and manufacturing plans to produce the engine. They won't get a maintenance manual.

i need to design a turbofan cfm56 engine only the turbine part and i need a turbine and design analysis.i need an axial or centrifugal aircraft engine turbine dimensions or blue print of it. is it possible to get it or if any textbooks or papers recommendations will be helpful.

this is a student project ? design and analysis of a turbine hot section ... wow ! this would take a large team of engineers years !!

and (in case you missed it) SWC is being very sarcastic ... design analysis of a turbine hot section is SUPER proprietary.

Read "Not Much of and Engineer" by Sir Stanley Hooker, a Rolls-Royce mathematician who described working to develop gas turbine engines used for jet propulsion. Also,

Anyway, the information drip is interesting. Is it to design a CFM56 or is it an axial or is it a centrifugal engine turbine?

3DD... I saw the model engine info in Your link... but I thought that this project was for a 'ICE engine' design-model [FEA/FEM/CAD]... not a 'model-sized [toy]' engine.

OK, so after a few postings from Black-balls-58, this project seems to actually be for a way-deeper effort... not a small piston-ICE but a full-scale equivalent turbofan engine... far more like a professional effort in disguise.

Regardless the complexity of the question/effort appears x10^4 more than presented in the opening line.

i am currently in my 6th sem of ug in Aeronautical and a fresher got a bit of a experience after my diploma. i am currently focusing on propulsion system and designing aspects . i want to get a real experience in propulsion system for a year or two.so thinking of taking a internship not yet sure after 6th sem wna go on a internship for 6 months.i am an indian. after gaining a bit of a experience i would like to work in abroad
