What happens to formaldehyde in WWTP feed? What is the source of expert data? August '99 Chemical Engineering described a process that suggested the destruction of cyanide in a WWTP if influent is pretreated w/formaldehyde first at ambient conditions. What happens to the excess or unreacted formaldehyde?
