Forms of Internal Separation for Low-voltage switchgear

As I was going through the IEC 60439-1 (Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies) I realised that internal separation form consists of Form 1 to Form 4 with variations of (a) and (b). I have seen some LV switchgear specifications with Form 4 Type 1 to 7. I could not find the
definition for Type 1 to 7 in IEC 60439-1. Is this stated in some other IEC publications or is this an older publication?

If I was to design a switchgear to Form 4(a), and I have a few MCCBs in a cubicle with the terminals wired out to the side in a cable compartment. The terminals are all sharing the same space without internal separation and to
achieve form 4(a), I would have to design an enclosure to separate the terminals in the cable compartment. My question now is, what is the criteria that this internal separation must be able to comply? If it was just to
separate the terminals, then taping it or enclosing with a heat shrink tube would be sufficient. There must be some sort of a criteria to what extent the internal separation must be able to withstand or prevent.

Thank you.
