I have a horizontal vessel supported with saddles, one is fixed and the other is sliding saddle.
What should be foundation load values as per the zick analysis as per the uploaded fig?
I believe that the dead, hydrotest, operation values will be 1/2th of empty, hyrotest and operating weights.
The following are the zick analysis calc. The values what I have got is uploaded as per the ans
Saddle Reaction Force due to Wind Ft [Fwt], My ans-->(Fy, wind)
Saddle Reaction Force due to Wind Fl or Friction [Fwl] My ans--> (Fx, wind)
Saddle Reaction Force due to Earthquake Fl or Friction [Fsl] My ans-->(Fx, seismic)
Saddle Reaction Force due to Earthquake Ft [Fst] My ans--> (Fy, seismic)
But what will be the forces on Fz and moments on Mx and Mz
I believe that the force and moments act only on the 'x'.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
