Dear Sirs,
I am investigating VOC reduction at our site to meet new legisation requirements. One of our difficulties is several of the monomers sublime - at 20-60 deg C just before they sublime they have reliative high vle concentrations (20000 ppm or more).
This would suggest to me that a freeze condenser is a possible unit operation as part of a reduction at source vent reduction before feeding any central unit which we may or may not install (depends on reduction at source).
So, What I'm really after is.
> Good referances of use of freeze condensers
> books or artciles ...
> Any general advice on success of these units and difficulty and risks of the operation.
(ie are they inherrently unreliabale, require a complex trip system, ....)
Thanks in advance
James B
