Good day all
If I have a fretting situation between SA182 F50 duplex and A106 B carbon materials. which of thee 2 material is going to erode. in other words, which has the better ware resistance when put up against each other?

IPE what is the fit form and function what is the % carbon in these steels

Considering that the duplex is much more corrosion resistant and will work harden more than a C steel I would estimate that the A106 would see the most damage.
These are different enough that I would expect little galling, so this should help reduce the damage.
What is the service?
Why do you expect fretting?
