Hello ,
I am doing a research on FSS (frequency selective surface)design.
What I wanna do is to create a magnetic ground plane using FSS and its resonant frequency is at 880MHz(800-960MHz).

Is there anyone can advise me which pattern of patch and its dimensions should I choose?
Or any article I should read which will do me a great favour???

Cheers

You should probably start with the following book...

Frequency Selective Surfaces: Theory and Design
by Ben A. Munk "A

You can get it from many places including Amazon.

Hope this helps.

thanx!!

HOwever, I have possessed this book.
I found the frequency range is far from my design in this book.

are you planning on placing antennas close to the ground plane, hence your need the ground plane to look open circuited? i.e. quarter wave short getting you the open.

I've heard of people putting 3 FSS LPF's back to back to try to make short circuits move for tunings cavities.

describe your gameplan a bit more please.
