Hi,

I am designing some fittings and tubing system for fuel purposes, which could also be exposed to hydraulic fluids (in reparations, etc.)

The thing is i will use a Corrosion REsistant Steel (CRES) which is believed to be fireproof material and able to stand hydraulic fluids. To certificate these fittings and tubes, i strongly believe that it is not needed to run some fire and fluid resistance tests. The problem is that i am looking for any MIL standard, handbook or faa document that could support my opinion and i havent been able to find it.

Do you know if exist any standard/literature that could support my opinion? Do i have to include those test in the certification of this hydraulic parts?...

Thanks in advance and best regards,
