I need a copy of the manual for the FVR K7S too. Did you ever find one, if so, would you mind telling me where you got it?

Thanks

jbartos,

Thanks for the link. I tried it but no luck.

The drive is an older one and has only 15 functions. I can guess some of them but.......

Anyway, I tried Fuji and they seem to be of little help. They say they "might" have a manual but want $60.00 for the information "if" they have it. Sheesh, that just doesn't seem fair since I bought their product from them in the first place.

Is it possible for you or anyone else to help me or give me some direction to proceed in - or am I stuck with Fuji's "blackmail"?

I appreciate your time and effort.

Jim

That was a long time ago but if I recall I downloaded another model from their website and used it. I think it was the FVR-G7S.

Suggestion: Try to find a VFD service Firm that is servicing the Fuji VFD. In long run, there will be a need for more things than just the manual, unless a switch is made to a different brand of VFDs.

Fuji is now represented by GE for drives in the U.S.A., so ask them.

jbartos,

I went back to the site you suggested - - and hunted a bit more. When I looked under the "Technical Information" tab a requester came up asking one to register free with them. I did so, and that delivered more opportunities. Under Inverters, it offered "Discountinued Models - Manual downloads" and there it was, the exact one I needed! (By the way, they also have quite a number of other "outdated" manuals - if one is interested.)

Apparently Fuji isn't that bad after all - but I do wish their service department would have told me where to find it when I phoned them. Must be the company is so big that their "left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing".

Thanks everyone for all your help.

Comment: Sorry that I did not elaborate. I was under the impression that the manual was not there. Therefore, my subsequent posting provides a different route that may eventually be needed if various maintenance requisites are not in-house.
