Fundamental doubt regarding positioning of columns for unsymmetrical floor plans 3

Dear madams/sirs,

I have prepared floor plans for G+2 residential building as per the client requirement. But no internal walls are one above the another as per the requested room sizes and floor plan arrangement. Clear span of the building width is 33 feet and length of the building width is around 67 feet. I am unable to position columns due to mismatch of walls arrangement in the ground and first floor.

Ground floor is proposed for 2 nos of 2 bhk for rental purpose. And first and second floors are for the owners residence.

Requesting the experts in guiding me for position and orientation of RCC columns.

You'll need to post your floor plans if you want any real guidance/commentary. 33 x 67 isn't so large that you can't get something to work.

Sounds like transfer beams, transfer slab, or transfer girder.

Not sure what half those comments mean, though. 2 nos of 2 bhk? G+2?

One way joist slab (depth. around 16 in ) should be OK . Provided that , the partition walls are non load bearing , thk. around 4 in., The structure would have perimeter frame ( drop beams and columns ) . Providing some shear walls keeping symmetry at perimeter would be fine .

Does BHK stand for “Bedroom, Hall, and Kitchen” ? So the owner would have a flat almost double the rental flats ? Do you think this is fair?
