I am Designing a vacuum graphite furnace, 30inch DIA, I need help with the calculation methods/ relation between (shell thickness<--> furnace Diameter) please,

See if you can get a copy of the code to which these furnaces are designed. I would not be surprised if a namplate or label on such furnaces list the applicable code.

the code I think used in such a project is [B&PV Code Sec. VIII, Div##], it's a lab equipment for a project and we are hoping to use other people exprc to find a software that will help us in our design or at least some guidance with materials & dimensions charts.
