furniture cad? any such thing?

My friend is starting his own business of making furniture(cabnits, desks, tables,etc....) and he asked me if there are any specific CAD programs for it, ive looked for about 2 weeks now and havent found anything online, or in magazines, any and all help is appreciated. Thanks

I don't think there is any such thing as a 'specific' cad program for a task, any more than there is a specific type of drawing board.
Acad LT will do the job fine, or you can go 3D and get as fancy as you like!

There are Cabinet-specific design programs.
A commonly used one is Cabinet Vision
