Gap between pipe cradle/support and structural beam

Dear all.

My client has set to cero the gap between the pipe cradle/support and the structural beam which supports it. I appreciate if someone can tell me where I can find a Global Practice, standard, etc, related with the maximun allowable gap in this cases.
