WHERE SHOULD BE THE BEST LOCATION OF A GAS LEAK DETECTOR BE SITUATED IN A SMALL BOILER CONSIDERING THE SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY?

Leakage will probably occur at connections with piping or at places where an instrument is (like Pt100...) fixed into a boiler.Buy a large chocolate, give it to children and keep the thin aluminium foil. Bend it around the connector (flange...) to form a small chamber and put your leak detector in it. The chamber will increase local concentration of the leak and it is easily removable. Your charm and your technicall skills will be appreciated.

Thank you m777182, but would it be Okay to locate it somewhere above the burner in a boiler? Burner is most frequently visited place in a Boiler. Please confirmed.

if your feed gas is denser then the air it would be better somewhere UNDER the burner!

Under the burner will also usually be cooler and less stressful on the sensor.
OTOH, can you use a remote sensor/instrument setup?

Natural gas is lighter than air. Use point type area detectors about two-foot abouve the floor or as recommended by the detector manufacturer. Specific locations should consider seals of flexible fittings. Infrared detectors can be sighted to look across an area.
