I was trying to figure-out how the pressures (both in the filterate receiver & the Nutsche itself) are controlled during the various stages of a filteration when using a liquid-ring compressor for subj.. Anyone with experience in this operation ?

the supplier of the nutsche should be able to help. we control ours by adding or venting nitrogen on the discharge side of the machine.

we are typically at a few inches of water column on the discharge side and then at a vacuum on the suction of the liquid ring pump.

what pressure you run has a lot to do with what solvents you are drying or evaporating from the nutsche.

The solvent is heptane & intention to run suction/ discharge side at atmospheric/0.5 bar g. with a heptane ring pump; before speaking to Nutsche vendors some operational details ?
