Gas Speed under Labyrinth seal.
How to determine the required gas speed under across labyrinth seal ?
Does it matter if the gas is hazardous or not ?

Shouldn't the question be how much leaked hazardous gas you can tolerate, and then go back from there?

Leakage speed at the labby seals are dependent to temperature, delta pressure between fwd-aft side, RPM, gas density, viscosity, closure at the seal rotor-stator interface.

Didn't get the hazardous portion, "hazardous" is an adjective it's not a physical property.
