Hi , i m searching for high temperature (250degC) resistant fuel gas valve seals.
Fuel gas supply line of the gas Turbine is 6". There are main shut off, trip shut off and control valves. All have to fulfill tightness class A. Do you know any proven seals?

Good seal materials don't normally like high temperatures.

The sensible strategy is to move the valves away from the heat. Can you do that?

Actually not. Because the target is to heat more fuel gas more
, and get a bit benefit from efficiency.

Seems to me that you are looking to take on lots of needlessly troublesome and costly problems in order to chase a trivial improvement in efficiency. It is not likely to provide a favorable cost vs. benefit situation. The efficiency losses associated with the increased operating problems will probably exceed the efficiency gains that you are seeking. You really don't want to be dealing with needless fuel leakage problems.

Valuable advice from a professor many years ago: First, design for graceful failure. Everything we build will eventually fail, so we must strive to avoid injuries or secondary damage when that failure occurs. Only then can practicality and economics be properly considered.

What company provided your gas turbine?

If YOU change THEIR gas line gaskets, THEY will probably void THEIR warranty very quickly.

Ga line seals are immediately a source of uncontrollable fires and flames.
