Hi guys,

My manager wants me to become an expert in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing over the next year.
My question, do I enroll in a seminars based program or do I order the GD & T Trainer on CD where I can learn at my own pace?

Thanks

Self-training is good if you have some exposure to GD&T. It's great as a refresher course as well.

If this is your first forray into GD&T, then you can't beat the seminars, as you get to see multiple examples and solutions, and get to see how other industries use GD&T.

You might even want to consider getting ASME GDTP certification.

cadguy13,

I took a course on GD&T. There is no substitute for putting your hand up, challenging the instructor on why he is doing something, then having it all explained to you.
